Eight Schools- One Big Project
The Digital School Excellence Fund is a government initiative to promote the use of digital technologies. Teachers and pupils from Gaelscoil an Raithin, Scoil Mhuire Clarinbridge, Sacred Heart Granard, Carraroe National School, Mungret Community College and Lisnagry National School are working together to introduce educational robotics to their classrooms.
Our website documents the experiences of these schools as they engage with and explore the use of various robotic devices such as Lego WeDo 2.0 and Minestorms EV3.
We hope that sharing our experiences (the highs and lows!) will help other teachers introduce robotics in their own classrooms.
